flex-ui-selenium for flex application testing

Hi,

Selenium is another set of tools to automate web application testing across many platforms.
There are following tools:

  • Selenium IDE is a Firefox add-on that records clicks, typing, and other actions to make a test, which you can play back in the browser.
  • Selenium Remote Control (RC) runs your tests in multiple browsers and platforms. Tweak your tests in your preferred language.
  • Selenium Grid extends Selenium RC to distribute your tests across multiple servers, saving you time by running tests in parallel.

Selenium IDE is a Firefox add-on that records clicks, typing, and other actions to make a test, which you can play back in the browser.

The flash-selenium project aims to extend the Selenium RC clients for adding Flash communication capabilities. The new component, FlexUISelenium, is used with Selenium RC for testing Flex UI interactions. The FlashSelenium RC client extension is available for the following Selenium RC client drivers: Java, .Net, Ruby and Phyton.

You can get more information about it at the following site.
FlexUISelenium

at the above link you will get more information about FlashSelenium testing, you can download it, you can get tuturial to integrate and use in your flex application to test it .

  1. I think you should start with some initial knowledge like intro to flex or some thing like this.Other wise this will become a expert’s blog for flex as you have started with the testing which come after the flex application is completed.this is no use for some one who doesn’t know flex.
